Casa Monolith - a sculptural architectural study in concrete

Form. Space. Perspective.

The studio

Our story

Designing beyond
the expected.

Natural light revealing timber grain and the texture of a quiet interior

We see architecture as a way of understanding the world. A dialogue between a place and its possibilities, between the way we live and the way we might.

Atelier Arvena brings architecture, interiors and material exploration into one continuous practice. We are drawn to clarity of form, the honesty of natural materials, and spaces that invite a more attentive way of living.

About the practice

Atelier Arvena

Company overview

Our approach begins with context: the character of a site, the quality of its light, and the needs of the people who will inhabit it. From there, we work toward an architecture that feels inevitable rather than imposed.

We favour fewer, better decisions. Proportion before ornament. Material before decoration. A thoughtful detail over an unnecessary gesture.

Architecture, interior design and the landscape are considered together. Each discipline informs the next, creating a coherent experience from the wider setting to the smallest point of contact.

Our vision

Architecture that endures.

To create environments that remain meaningful as life changes. Places grounded in their setting, generous in their use, and enriched by the passage of time.

Our process

From the first conversation to the considered detail.

01

Discovery

A conversation about how you live, what you value, and what a place could become. We begin by asking the right questions.

02

Concept Development

Context becomes concept. We explore spatial relationships, natural light and the defining gesture of the architecture.

03

Design Refinement

We test the idea at every scale, resolving plans, proportions and the transitions between spaces.

04

Technical Documentation

The design is translated into a coordinated set of drawings, with careful attention to junctions and construction logic.

05

Material Specification

Materials are considered for their character, performance and the way they will change with time.

06

Project Realization

We stay close to the design intent as it takes physical form, in dialogue with the people responsible for making it.

Design disciplines

Five disciplines. One continuous conversation.

Architecture - an Atelier Arvena material and spatial exploration

Architecture

Buildings shaped by their setting. From the first line to the final threshold, every decision belongs to a larger idea.

Interior Design - an Atelier Arvena material and spatial exploration

Interior Design

Interiors composed through light, texture and proportion. Spaces that feel as considered as they look.

Furniture Design - an Atelier Arvena material and spatial exploration

Furniture Design

Objects designed for the way a room is lived in. Precise in detail, generous in character.

Master Planning - an Atelier Arvena material and spatial exploration

Master Planning

A wider view of how places connect. Thoughtful frameworks for landscape, movement and life between buildings.

Commercial Spaces - an Atelier Arvena material and spatial exploration

Commercial Spaces

Places of work and exchange, with an identity rooted in the people and ideas they bring together.
