Enclosed garden setting 2026
Courtyard No. 08
The idea
A single tree. An open sky. A different measure of time.
Material palette
Clay tile / Gravel / Board-formed concrete
An intimate courtyard is organised around one tree and the changing patch of sky above it. The surrounding walls turn the attention inward, toward texture, shade and the subtle movement of leaves.
Brick-toned seating provides a warm counterpoint to the mineral ground. The design explores how a small outdoor room can become the emotional centre of a home.
