The idea
An intimate study in dark timber and borrowed light.
Material palette
Smoked oak / Dark marble / Linen
The suite is conceived as a calm counterpoint to the activity beyond it. Dark joinery unifies storage and display, while indirect light traces the edges of the room.
A tightly controlled palette draws attention to touch: the grain of timber, the coolness of stone and the softness of linen. The result favours atmosphere over ornament.
