The idea
A horizontal gesture that holds the landscape close.
Material palette
Limestone / Timber / Clear glass
A low roof stretches across an open garden, gathering a series of sheltered spaces beneath a single horizontal plane. The pavilion is conceived less as an object than as a way to inhabit its setting.
Sliding openings dissolve the boundary between interior and lawn. A restrained palette of stone and wood allows foliage, weather and daylight to remain the primary experience.
